Their dance classes offer beginning ballet, hip hop, jazz, and modern dance. They provide students with everything they need from ballet shoes to uniforms so that no child feels left out. Their program Yes, I Can is a free arts education experience that provides positive self-esteem.

ALVERNO COLLEGE
Milwaukee, WI – Founded in 1887, this college is a distinguished provider of higher education for female students, and empowering women with the opportunity to advance themselves to secure a path to economic independence. They also have a Girls’ Academy for Science and Mathematics program which provides high school students with the skills they need to be successful in high school, college, and bright future careers. The program provides transportation, meals, and in-person instruction in biology, chemistry, and test training.
AUDIO AND BRAILLE
Milwaukee, WI – Since 1965, Audio and Braille Literacy Enhancement was started by a small group of volunteers who have the knowledge to transcribe print materials into high quality braille and audio formats for people who are blind or print disabled in Milwaukee area schools. They have since then grown to being able to serve all of Wisconsin. Their recent goal is to produce 75 braille copies of two books that feature young and blind children and distributed for free in Wisconsin.
BOY SCOUTS OF AMERICA SAMOSET COUNCIL
Weston, WI – Founded in 1920, this Boy Scouts Council serves 13 counties in central and northern Wisconsin positively impacting over 3000 youth. Their mission is to prepare young people for life by providing opportunities to live the Scout Oath and Law through accessible, safe, and inclusive programs. They do this through outdoor experiences, service to their community’s leadership, teamwork, and developing their self-reliance and self-confidence.
FORWARD SCHOLARS LLC
Milwaukee, WI – Forward Scholars is a community volunteer tutoring program focused on helping kindergarten through 3rd graders who are struggling reading at their grade level. After the disruption to Milwaukee schools caused by the pandemic, many community members requested to help children succeed in school. This initiated their tutoring program in 2021 which began in five schools, then expanded to seven schools in 2023. Their program was very successful because students grew nearly twice the expected growth.
MILWAUKEE YOUTH SYMPHONY ORCHESTRA INC
Milwaukee, WI – The Milwaukee Youth Symphony Orchestra works to nurture, challenge, and inspire young minds which profoundly changes the lives and the communities they live in a positive way. Each year the orchestra serves more than 900 students, ages 8 to 18, from northern Illinois and southeast Wisconsin delivering participatory music education through 40 programs. Their master classes provide exposure to local, national, and international visiting professional musicians.
