BENEDICT CENTER

Milwaukee, WI – Established in 1974, the Benedict Center is Milwaukee’s leading service and advocate provider for women affected by the criminal justice system, including women at risk of being criminalized due to mental health, substance use, trauma, and/or exploitation in the sex trade. They have four locations across Milwaukee County that provide service programs such as short and long-term success peer-support, housing navigation, employment services, and recovery support.

BREAD OF HEALING

Milwaukee, WI – The Bread of Healing is a neighborhoodbased clinic that provides free healthcare, medications, counseling, dental, and assistance with navigation/support with accessing health and community services to low-income, uninsured adults with chronic illnesses. Patients learn to manage their health conditions through regular health care visits and consistent use of medications. Through their Community Med Share Program other free clinics in the Milwaukee area collaborate to increase access to free medications.

CHOSEN INC. OF WISCONSIN

Milwaukee, WI – Chosen, Inc. of Wisconsin is a fostering and adoption support ministry dedicated to Fostering Forever Families in SE Wisconsin, ensuring every child can grow up in a safe and loving home. Additionally, Chosen offers the Family Closet which supports foster, kinship, adoptive, and guardianship families in fi nancial need. Located in Waukesha and West Allis, it offers free, gently used clothing and new items like baby supplies, toys, toiletries, and school materials.

COLLEGE POSSIBLE

Milwaukee, WI – Founded in 2008, College Possible Wisconsin has empowered more than 4000 students from under-resourced students who pursue higher education. Their leadership team coaches deliver comprehensive guidance to students on college preparation, enrollment, application, and persistence on completion. Additionally, they offer high school students their College Access program which provides students with financial aid guidance.

EASTSIDE SENIOR SERVICES

Milwaukee, WI – Established over 50 years ago, Eastside Senior Services have a mission in helping adults aged 60 and older live independently and stay connected to their community on the eastside of Milwaukee. They do this by offering volunteers that come to those in need of help with technology such as computer and phone installations, and companionship visits that include activities such as walks, outings, reading, and games. They also offer rides for medical appointments, shopping trips, and general errands.

TEX REYNOLD’S TOYS FOR TOTS

Racine, WI – For more than 40 years Tex Reynold’s Toys for Tots has been providing fi nancial assistance to over 70 talented, dedicated volunteers who work throughout the year to clean and repair donated used Christmas toys for thousands of children in Racine County. How it works is families in need begin to register for the program in early October with distribution occurring just prior to Christmas. Each child receives a gift bag of books, puzzles, and games.
