ARTISTS FOR THE HUMANITIES
Milwaukee, WI – Founded in 2005, the mission of this group is to improve the quality of the lives of Wisconsin veterans who have been negatively impacted by substance abuse, homelessness, trauma, mental health issues, and other signifi cant life events. They do this through conducting group sessions of life coaching and expressive art therapy paired with mental health guidance. Artists for the Humanities has engaged over 6,000 veterans and conducted 800 group sessions since its inception.

Milwaukee, WI – Since 2008, BizStarts has assisted hundreds of fl edgling entrepreneurs in greater Milwaukee by combining coaching, experiential education, personalized training, networking, mentoring, resource referrals, and shared marketing. As a result, entrepreneurs develop valuable skills, access to new networks and resources, and build long-term relationships with other businesses which is especially critical in creating diverse businesses in Milwaukee.
CENTER FOR VETERANS ISSUES
Milwaukee, WI – Founded in 1989, the Center for Veterans Issues goal is to provide housing services to help the quality of life for all veterans in Wisconsin, their families, and the communities in which they live and serve. They do this by providing management and technical assistance to agencies serving veterans, as well as direct service provisions for homeless veterans through housing and wraparound supportive services. On average they support more than 390 veterans daily.

SCALING WELLNESS IN MILWAUKEE
Milwaukee, WI – Scaling Wellness in Milwaukee works to support individuals who have been impacted by generational trauma. Their unique approach to doing this is to drive community-based collaborations that focus on training, education, wellness, and resilient services. In doing so, Scaling Wellness equips community members with the tools they need to assist them in understanding their trauma. This encourages healing and adaptive resilience that did not exist prior.
