Milwaukee, WI – Chosen is a non-profit fostering adoption support ministry which exists to Foster Forever Families, by living the Gospel so that all children can have a safe and loving home. Chosen supports adoptive/foster families emotional, physical, financial, and spiritual well-being. Because many new adoptive parents aren’t equipped with everything needed for children in their care, Chosen offers gently used clothing/shoes for teens, and newborn items.

Milwaukee, WI – Founded in 1976, Community Advocates strives to provide families and individuals with services to meet their basic life-sustaining needs so they may live in dignity. They are one of the few remaining community-based organizations welcoming walk-in clients five days a week. Other services provided are energy assistance, tenant/landlord help, rent assistance, abused women’s program, substance use disorder treatment, and a monthly gathering of social service providers that discusses community issues.

Their goal is to connect job seekers to employment opportunities, education/training in high growth-high demand sectors, and to provide a skilled and sustainable workforce. The funding Employ Milwaukee receives goes to serve youth, dislocated workers, disabled individuals, older workers, and other significant barriers to employment.
END DOMESTIC ABUSE WISCONSIN
Milwaukee, WI – Founded in 1978, End Domestic Abuse is the only statewide coalition led by attorneys, social policy advocates, and experts working to connect, support, and lead social change organizations to end domestic abuse. Their technical assistance provides the sharing of referrals, and/or materials on topics related to violence. Their goals are accomplished through the direct services and advocacy efforts of local providers and End Domestic Abuse staff.
LITERACY SERVICES OF WISC
Milwaukee, WI – Literacy Services is a leading adult education provider with eight locations in Wisconsin. Partnering with motivated adults, Literacy Services provides access to quality basic education and skills training so they can improve their lives. Their programming supports a wide range of student academic goals, which includes learning to read, obtaining a high school credential, increasing language fluency, improving numeracy for workforce needs, and preparing for post- secondary options.

Milwaukee, WI – Since 2007, The New Horizon Center has been offering a Treatment Foster Care as a specialized model of care that provides support to meet the needs of children and families. Their specialists are specifically trained to negotiate, de-escalate, and decompress harmful or problem situations and bring people to a positive resolution. This provides children with a stable environment coupled with a structured treatment plan tailored to meet the needs of youth.
